Hey fellow shoppers! This week I want to talk about one of very favorite stores thats located near my house, in Hamden CT. It is called DAVA and is a unique one of a kind store. When you walk into the store you can smell many different kinds of insense and candles. DAVA has different types of candles not your run of the mill Yankee Candles. Many of the products in DAVA are earth friendly, and DAVA has alot more than just candles. They have a long counter full of jewlery, rings, barretes, necklaces, earrings and basically anything you ever want, the best part about this jewlery is that the only place I have ever seen the stuff is in DAVA. So anytime I want a piece of jewlery that I know is speical and isn't something everyone else is wearing I always go to DAVA.

If jewlery isn't what your looking for DAVA has a great collection of the "Quotable" stuff, for those of you who don't know what the Quotable line is they have cards, mugs, candles, magnets, notebooks and many other things with really good and meaningful quotes said by imporant people. I have a large collection of the Quotable Magnets and I always enjoy reading them and picking out my favorite while I am shopping at DAVA.

DAVA also sells handmade clothing, long flowing skirts, dress and shirts and flip flops, their cloths sort of border on the hippie side, which isn't my style but I do see many people purchasing their clothing.

While I could go on forever about how unique and how much I love shopping at DAVA, i hope if you ever in Hamden, CT that you get a chance to check out this really cool store that is a great place to buy a friend a gift or get yourself a little something speical. DAVA has something for everyone on your shopping list!
